So i just finished a producing a record with Lionheart from Nor Cal. The record is called “Undisputed” and consists of 13 songs that will make lots of euros hit the pit haha. We tracked drums with Paul Miner at Buzzbomb Sound, finished the tracking at my spot (Bloodtracks) and will finish the mixing over the next couple weeks with Matt Hyde.
We had a lot of fun on this one. These dudes really take their music and what they do serious but we let loose and made fun of each other a lot. Frequent quote from these guys “That Literally 100% Awesome”. I think people will say that when they hear this record.
Catch Lionheart on tour with Suicidal Tendencies, Biohazard and my band Terror on the Persistence tour in Europe starting Friday! I also have some cool news regarding some records i’ll be working on in the next couple months. So stay tuned for that. Word.

Take Offense EP/7” Update
Today I finished recording a brand new EP for Take Offense from Chula Vista, CA. I’ve known these dudes for about 5 years now and it’s awesome to see them making a rumble in the HC/Metal/Punk scene finally. These are a bunch of great dudes that know real music and the roots of where it came from. It shows in their unique style which makes them stand out from the rest. This new record, that will be released on Reaper Records later this year, will surely grab peoples attention. Expect some new sounds mixed with the classic CVHC sound TO is known for.
We tracked the drums with Chris Rakestraw at Sunset Lodge Recording in Hollywood, CA, recorded all guitars/bass/vocals at my studio in Granada HIlls and i will finish mixing the record at Matt Hyde’s studio in Van Nuys next week.
This will be another solid release for the REAPER NATION. So pumped to have been able work on this project. Can’t wait for everyone to hear it.

Check out the title track ‘Darker Half’ from the upcoming album i produced with Backtrack from Long Island, NY. The record is due out later this year on Reaper Records.
So i just finished tracking with @BacktrackNYHC from Long Island, NY. We layed down 13 songs for their full length entitled “Darker Half” out later this year on @ReaperRecords. It’s a great opportunity for me to produce and record with these guys. These songs turned out great and I can’t wait for everyone to hear them. Over the weekend i will be mixing the record alongside with Matt Hyde and it should be all finished and done by next week. For now, peep this sneak preview of a song called “Scratch The Past” while we listen back up in Bloodtracks. - Nick
